Sup Everyone!
This update is a bit more of what is to be changed, what is to be updated, and what is to be expected. I strongly recommend reading these updates i post so not to be caught off guard.
What's to be changed?
Originally, the forums were going to be just a place for general discussion, get people to meet and greet, and have a good time. I am deciding to add in more things to get that rolling and also to better incorporate some of the new ideas i am going to implement over time.
#1 - Human Resources - your source for your contract and cashflow
The creation of this is to better connect the way the superstar creation is used on our main site and add another layer of realism into it. The contracts offered here are based entirely you maintaining the 30-day contract that counts down actively on the main site. Your contracts placed here will be offered following the posting of this week's show. Within the contract offered will be an initial one year contract, including the amount you are being paid per show. The intial amount offered is based on two things: Attendance and Performance while competing in VCW. Depending if you are actively with another e-promotion (example...GEW, EWE, and WWX), an additional amount will be provided. Once the contract itself has been offered (posted), it is your responsible to accept or refuse the contract. If you refuse the contract, you need to negotiate what you believe you are worth to the promotion. Keep in mind of your time with VCW and what you have done, cause i will. Renewal of your contract on the main site is key to maintaining the contract if you approve. If you do not maintain the contract, payments will stop and you will be unable to compete on the future cards. Each month, i will post the balances of contracted wrestlers on the forums. A shop will be set up for wrestlers to take advantage of down the road.
#2 - Valor Television Network - Now serving a dual purpose
Bringing back online for the promotiing of other efeds i have spoken to and to get them more exposure around the world. This is a reflection of a IC business relationship and a OOC responsibly to promote what i believe is a healthy and interesting hobby to the masses. With each show i post from the respective promotion, i will add a poll to reflect the viewer's thoughts of the promotion's shows, giving it a sense of realism and informing them of the number of viewers they have watching their shows. This also provides myself and those writing matches for Thursday Night Rage an accurate and up to date show reflecting wrestlers from other promotions are properly represented. This leaves more to the imagination in terms of how handlers can get more exposure by appearing on various shows if in more than one promotion. Take advantage of that.
#3 - Roleplay Scoring Guidelines and Deadlines
Will be updating how i will score roleplays for shows this week, providing a proper explanation on how that process is done. The categories i will cover are: Spelling/Grammar, Character Development, Quantity, and Quality. Scores will be posted here on the forums for each show so that you can look at how you are progressing here in VCW. The deadline i post for roleplays should be read and respected. By respected, i mean..don't wait last minute to post a roleplay. I give you guys plenty of time to push out an easy 350-750 word roleplay. Deadline Extension will only be awarded if there are serious circumstances that prevent you from posting before the deadline ends. Communication is key for everything to work out in regards to this.
