Happy New Year Everyone!
With the VCW Invitational around the corner, i have decided to post up some important tidbits for you to read and understand to ensure things go smoothly. The first card that will be posted will reflect the inital roster of VCW signees and wrestlers from outside promotions. These individuals will compete in exhibition style matches for me to decide your placing in the tournament. Those signing up after the official first card, will be added into the tournament brackets against each other. Each card will have three matches each, allowing those just joining the promotion or those who competed prior to use the time to read roleplays of those competing and/or use the time to hype themselves up on the show via segments slotted within the show itself. To break it down further:
First Card Consists Of:
3 Exhibition Single Matches
Two Roleplay Limit set in place. Word Limit is essentially 2,000 words max.
Personification of how your wrestler competes and acts overall depends greatly on your roleplays and the wrestler bio you have in place during the match.
Those on this card will be evaluated on their roleplays for placement in the tournament, basically deciding the order of who goes first in tournament.
If there is an odd number of wrestlers by the time of the first official card, the wrestler not given a match will be placed after the second official card.
Second Card Consists of:
2 to 5 Exhibition Single Matches based on the size of the roster the week prior.
Two Roleplay Limit, Word Limit is the same as before.
Allotment of segments on the show will increase/decrease based on participation.
For those looking to set up segments on the show, there is two different ways you can go about this, which i will add officially into the main guide:
1. You can send a fully written segment, of yourself or with others being depicted doing a promo on camera.
2. PM me a description of how you wish your wrestler to be viewed with points depicting what you want being done. Be very descriptive if you go this route. If its not descriptive to where i can meet your request without any mistakes, its most likely best that you write it out yourself.
As stated with the promotional advertising, the winner of this tournament will be crowned the first VCW Champion and be awarded the VCW Invitational Cup. The first runner up will be awarded the VCW Internet Championship, the second runner up will be awarded the VCW Wildfire Championship.
The deadline for new wrestlers to take part in the tournament/promotion itself is by January 3rd, 2014.
